PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The QMHP delivers services in compliance with regulations and standards of BHO, MCO, TXMHMR and the policies and procedures of Metrocare Services in order to facilitate the enhancement of individual consumer functioning in the least restrictive environment. 24 hour on call coverage, must have own transportation, in-county travel required. Proficiency in Windows applications. (Some positions are community-based and require reliable transportation to and from visits. Some positions require bilingual-Spanish.)
THIS IS A CUSTOMER (CONSUMER) SERVICE POSITION THAT REQUIRES EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND DEDICATION TO THE METROCARE MISSION. APPLICANTS WHO CANNOT DEMONSTRATE THE ABOVE WOULD NOT MEET THE MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION.
Education and Experience:

QMHP-CS or qualified mental health professional - community services - An individual credentialed to provide QMHP-CS services who has demonstrated competency in the work to be performed and:
(A) Has a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that is equivalent to a major from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention; or
(B) is a registered nurse.

Job Title: LPHA (Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts)

Salary: $36,108 - $40,000 - depending upon Skills/Education/Experience– bilingual stipend available if pass internal testing criteria
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The LPHA coordinates services and provides community-based psychosocial rehabilitation programming and therapeutic services to individuals or groups of consumers assigned to a specific treatment team. As an effective member of the treatment team, the LPHA participates in treatment team meetings, interacts with assigned consumers, documents behavioral interventions, and works cooperatively with other team members to provide services, which ameliorate symptoms of mental illness for consumers assigned to the team. The LPHA also interacts with the consumer’s family members and other providers in the community as appropriate to ensure that the consumer’s needs are being met. May perform functional assessments of consumer strengths, needs and resources to determine appropriate teaching/learning expectations and to analyze mastery of skills. May need to call in clinical information to obtain authorizations for services from BHO’s. The LPHA is primarily responsible for monitoring services and providing Community Support Services and therapeutic services. The LPHA uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field with 2 to 3 years of specialized experience. Licensure as LPC, LMSW-ACP or Ph.D required.

Job Title: Clinical Manager I
Supervised By: Clinical Manager

Salary: $33,000 - $35,000 -- depending upon Skills/Education/Experience– bilingual stipend available if pass internal testing criteria
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Provides psychosocial/rehabilitative service to persons with mental illness. Assists the Team Leader or Team Supervisor as directed. Services may include, but are not limited to, monitor team metrics, run reports, carry a caseload and provide linkage, advocacy, monitoring, crisis intervention and continuity of care. The overall goal of this position is to assist the Team Leader or Team supervisor in monitoring team productivity. Ensures compliance with payer or contract, license documentation requirements. Ensure compliance this agency and JACHO standards and requirements. Model positive work habits. Also sustains caseload and maximize the consumer’s potential level of functioning, reduce hospitalization and aid in the successful reintegration of consumers into the community.
Education and Experience:
Prefer a Masters degree degree with 0 to 2 years experience in human services, or a Bachelor’s degree in human services with 1 to 3 years experience in MH/MR or related field.
