PURPOSE OF JOB:

Support third-party software application (PsychConsult by Askesis Development Group) using SQL Server, PowerBuilder, and Crystal Reports

Recognize, analyze, provide solutions and support to applications, business processes and user concerns

Review, analyze, create, modify, test, and debug programming system for organization’s system applications

Consult with business users to identify current needs and clarify program objectives

Compose documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections

Compose manuals for users to describe new and/or modified functionality and features
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Must have:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or 2+ years experience in related field

2-4 years experience in SQL Server (Proficient with stored procedures, T-SQL, triggers, etc.)

1+ years experience in PowerBuilder

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to understand distinct complex processes, programs, and systems

Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and assist in carrying out department’s strategic goals

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This position assists in general clinical office duties, including, maintaining appointment schedule, screens consumer needs, completes financial assessments and consents, working with consumers in waiting area, meets designated benchmarks, attends meetings, etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate or GED with some college or technical school/training with a minimum of 4 years of progressive customer service experience required. Experience in an office of MH/MR setting preferred.

Job Title: UM Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Utilization Management Specialist (UMS) is responsible for the approval of eligibility and authorization of services for consumers with Mental Retardation (MR) and/or co-occuring disorders of MR and Mental Illness (MI) participating in General Revenue Services. The UMS will work with local providers to insure that the requested services meet criteria as specified by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (formerly Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation) for the General Revenue Services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Masters degree in Human Services field, with applicable license; or BSN-RN. Minimum of two (2) years full time experience in the field of mental health, mental retardation, and utilization management.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The primary purpose of this position is to represent Metrocare Services and its consumers via phone and computer. This position must be able to assess and prioritize needs, follow through on assignments and function well under deadline restraints. The main focus of the Customer Help Desk Coordinator is to provide timely, efficient, and helpful service in such a way that ensures that customers are satisfied.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
An Associates Degree or High School/GED and 5 years experience and customer service experience preferred. Bi-lingual required.

Job Title: Quality Improvement Coordinator

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Agency’s Quality Management Plan and quality improvement activities. Activities associated with this process include preparation of data and program information; analyzing, documenting and distributing the report information; ensuring follow through on identified areas for improvement; coordinating the DARS/ECI review process and reporting to external entities as required. Serves as liaison on internal and external providers involved in quality improvement. Position also involves providing leadership and direction to services in the development and implementation of systems to improve consumer supports and services and DMS performance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Masters or Bachelors degrees in Human Services or Health Related Field from an accredited college or university. Minimum of five years of Quality Management in ECI, MHMR programs and/or developmental disability or health organizations.
